1. Write a paragraph explaining why Ms. Ramirez decided to start the class with the creation stories? Then, explain what is the relationship between the history essay (from The Lies my Teacher Told Me), the class and the creation stories.
Period 3
1. Interview three adults. Ask them what their beliefs are regarding the creation of human kind. What creation stories do they believe in? Do they think that having creation stories is important and why?
Make sure to include their names and their job titles/roles.
2. Read The world on Turtle's Back and answer the questions at the end. Questions 1 + the 3 bullets, 3, 4, 5, 6
3. Read The Big Bang Theory. Be ready for a reading quiz.
