2. Using your spiral notebook and the handout I gave in class today, go back and choose 2 parts(on 2 separate pages) and write a comment, question or observation.
MAKE SURE TO FORMAT YOUR ENTRY LIKE THE EXAMPLE ON THE HANDOUT. (I showed it in class, remember?)

1. Study list 4 words for the warm up tomorrow.
2. Reread the packet and email me all of the words you don't know.
DON'T BE LIKE MOST OF MY 6TH PERIOD STUDENTS AND ONLY GIVE ME THE BARE MINIMUM of 5 words.

Period 6
1. Color code the reading strategy samples on the left margin of the "A Worn Path" packet.
2. Reread the story and determine if the grandson is dead.
3. Study list 4 words for the warm up tomorrow.

1. Bring in a spiral Note book for English Class only.
2. Highlight the margin examples of the Reading Strategies in different colors.
3. Email me telling me what is the benefit of each step in the reading strategies.

Period 6
1. Reread the "Worn Path" Packet and email me a list of words you don't know from the packet. You should have at least 5.

  2. Read "A Worn Path" packet and take notes on separate sheet of paper. Be ready for reading quiz.
  3. Do List 4 Note Cards.
  4. Memorize the 3 words I gave you in class. If you were absent, ask a classmate.

Period 6
