In the following groups, write a 2-3 page skit for the Act you are responsible for.
Choose the most important events and write new (possibly translated) lines.
Make sure to include stage directions.
Make sure that it is typed.

Period 1
Read the first 3 pages of the second packet your received. (p. 191-195)
Extra Credit= make a list of all the words that you don't know and look them up.
Period 3
If you are trying out for a part, choose a a few lines that you want to perform and really nail the emotion, tone and pronunciation of the lines.
Make sure that your performance is appropriate to what the scene is calling for.
Come prepared with the section you want to perform. Do not start flipping through the packet in class tomorrow.
Your selection for the audition can be from any part of the play.

To refresh your memory, we talked about racist stereotypical comments and raising standards and people's aim for perfection.
