Homework 10/20/10

Period 1
Go to the following link http://www.scribd.com/doc/22847869/Handbook-of-Native-American-Mythology and read pages 15-18 on the toolbar, next to the up and down arrows.
Take Cornell notes on the reading and then, email me your answer to the following questions:
1. Prior to reading the assignment, were you aware of the fact that myths have so many functions? Do you think that they actually serve all of their functions?
2. Why do you think that Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, etc, are not generally called myths and instead are considered legitimate religions?


Period 3
Write down the following sentences in the second part of your vocab worksheet that you started in class. Then, write the words 3 times in the third section of the worksheet.
