#3When Sor Juana says “Fair things pay” she is putting personification fairness. Meaning when someone does something fair they will be getting something good in return. By “time” she is meaning it will come in a certain time, the favor that good thing will come in it’s time. Another way she puts personification into “Treasure” is by saying that it cheats like if a person will cheat a partner or something. To each of this thing she puts a human action.
“Beauty doesn’t bother me, all good thing will come into place in its own time.”
#4 I would say that the theme is to not care so much about beauty or material possessions, because if you do it would always be on your way not letting you live comfortably. “Than waste its stock on every beauty’s claim?
#6 I would agree with what the author is saying. That possessions and beauty do get on your way and do not let you live as comfortably as one would like. Also you would be spending a lot of time in it.

Pg. 30
#4 I think the reason why Bradstreet uses the word pelf to describe her store and treasures is because. He may discover that the things in the store aren’t really of much value. Because, the things in the store were material things that can be replaced.
#6 “For sorrow near I did not look” “There lay the store I counted best”. “No candle e’er shall shine in thee”.
#7 Some philosophical beliefs that I noticed in Bradstreet’s poem is that he’ punishing you for some reason. It maybe because you did something that you weren’t supposed to do. Also the things you own doesn’t belong to the person but to God. And the reasons he does thing no one may know.
