1. Complete the "Reminder Tool Scientist Project" ALL OF IT!!!
- It needs to be typed and have all 5 sections.
2. Read the "What is Reading?"packet and post at least 5 important points about it on YOUR OWN blog. The title of your postshould be "What is Reading"
3. Tell me what you think is the ideal group work model. (What does perfect group work look like. If you were Ms. Ramirez, what would make you say "Yippe!") How well do you think your group worked? What could have been done better?

Period 3
1. On your own blog, explain what characteristics (from the ones mentioned in class) are needed in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship?
Which ones are needed for a co-worker relationship? Which ones are needed in a classmate relationship?
Then tell me how you rate yourself in the classmate relationship?
What characteristics do you have that make you a good classmate?

Answer the following questions as a comment to this post:
1. What characteristics did you think were the most common in the presentations? Why do you think they came up the most in our class?
2. Do you think that the presentations helped to show our class' differences or similarities? (Do you think that students in our class have more things in common or differences, based on the presentations?)
3. Why do you think that Ms. Ramirez chose to have you present on these topics?

Bonus Question: What do think is the connection between the poster/discussion activity and the class vows?

2. Make an individual poster that represents what you discussed and/or your own beliefs on the 3 questions asked in class.

4. Complete the Time Management Tips Worksheet by reading the tips and then writing in the boxes if you think that they are helpful and if you would apply them to your life. How helpful would they be.
5. Make sure to answer the writing portion where you describe your lifestyle to someone that's not from SPA.

Comment to this post by telling me what you think is your MOST effective time management technique. Think of something you do that really has shown results for your ability to manage time. How do you stay on task? What would you recommend to other students so that they can stay on task?

Email me what integrity is and how much of it you think you have. Note: This is also an exercises to show me how much integrity you have, because you have to be honest when you talk about how honest you are. It would be dishonest for you to lie about how honest you are. :)
It must be at least 6-10 sentences.

2. In that same email, tell me what you think is your best way to learn. Think back to a time in class, when you totally remember what the teacher was teaching. Describe the type of homework that was given and what activities you participated in order to make the learning stick. What activity do you like doing the most in class?

Homework 8/11/10

Period 1
1. Email me your choice of student that you would want to join our period and explain why you would want them in class. What do you think makes them worthy of joining our class? If you like the class the way it is, then explain why you like it, as is, so much.
2. Complete the time management worksheet. In the reflection section explain if you liked the tip, if you already do it or if you think you would utilize the tip.
Make sure to also answer the prompt at the bottom of the page. You can do that directly on the page or you can write it on a separate sheet a paper.

Period 3
Write a 1/2 page (in paragraphs, not just as answering questions) on a word processor and attach to an email, a response that explains what your opinion is on sexual harassment.
- Define the term sexual harassment.
-Give an example that you know of sexual harassment and/or tell me how often you think you see it here on campus.
-Do you think that it is truly a bad thing or if you think that it can get out of control if people are too sensitive. -
