Homework 4/22/09

Period 1
1. View the PowerPoint presentation by clicking the link.
2. Take notes on the most important parts of the presentation. Order your notes by slides and slide titles.
3. Be ready to take a quiz in class.
4. Complete the Prompt Worksheet by following the steps in the powerpoint. (if you cannot print it out then you can hand write it)

Period 3
Write down 3 appeals to support your point of view on the issue you wrote about in Quickwrite on pg. 208.
For Example: Dress code ----
  • choose whether you are for it or against it.
  • Write a logical, ethical, emotional appeal to support your point of view

You will be presenting these arguments in class tomorrow and the class will decide if your appeal was convincing enough. :) (you will get participation points for this part)

the ppt link its not working up in the cafe and when it does come up you have to go to a google account. I attempted and i asked for help.
