Journal Entry #1- July 16, 2012
How has your summer been going so far? What have you done since the school year ended? How bummed or excited are you about these last three weeks of summer school? (1-3 PARAGRAPHS)

There are some people that claim that Peer Pressure does not actually exist since every person has the capability to make choices.  Do you agree or disagree with this? Explain your answer. Give two examples that support your opinion.
What do you think you could do as a parent to combat the effects of this so-called peer pressure? What did your parent/guardians/family do to combat the effects of peer influence? If they did nothing, why do you think they didn’t?
