Read "The Declaration of Independence" from the HOLT textbook. (Use the Table of Contents to find it)
Pay attention to the text that was left out or changed. It is the text that is underlined. Consider why that specific text may have been left out.

The note cards should:
have the word on one side and the definition on the other side
include the part of speech (Is it a verb, noun, adjective?)
A sentence that shows how to use it.
