Warning to Period 1

While I have not yet entered everything, you should be aware of the fact that there are currently 7 F's in the class. This is in case you know of someone that is thinking about not doing their homework tonight.
Remember, also, that it's your responsibility to make up missed quizzes and inquire about missed work.

Homework 5/5/09

Period 1
Read the Mark Twain packet and write a half page critique of the story. Did you like it or hate it? What did you like or hate about it? Based on what you read do you think that you'd like more of Mark Twain's writing? Why or why not?

Period 3
Final draft of your Civil Disobedience speech.
I expect quality work and since you all have written at least a 3 page paper, this little essay should be no problem.
While you are writing, please imagine that you are going to present this speech to the class, which you actually will!
